Hi, I have just setup HP Openview and seems to be working fine. I have started to look at collecting data, when looking at cisco router interface MIB's I can collect on 'ifInOctets' and 'ifOutOctets' but I would like to collect bits/S, if this possible? and if so how do I do it.

Bob ^^

When I look at my Cisco Interface MIB, I do not see a variable for ifInOctets or ifOutOctets. That is part of the MIB II interface MIB. I DO see locIfInOCtets and OutOctets in the Cisco MIB, thats all. I suspect you are looking at the MIB II Interface MIB, not the Cisco IF MIB.

In the Cisco IF Interface MIB, there is a variable for locIfInBitsSec and locIfOutBitsSec. I suspect that is what you are looking for. I loaded the OLD-CISCO-INTERFACES-MIB.my to get it.
