Cisco IDS 1

Do HP-UX and Sun Solaris 2.6 both have to be running on a server in order to install Cisco IDS 2.2.1? I'm reading the product overview for IDS and it isn't clear.

You try to make an overview to IDS but you don't know that HP UX and Sun Solaris are operating systems? Those run on "propritary"(allmost) hardware that came from HP and SUN.
Are you a manager?

Thanks for your sarcastic remarks. I obviously know that they are operating systems. I did not say that I am making an overview, I said I was reading the overview. Next time please read the postings carefully. It seems that you've only been a member for a few minutes, word to the wise if you're not going to be helpful then get off this site!!!
