Hey Guys,
I need some help with something I jumped into.
I have a office in another state that has a VOIP phone system. The offices all have VOIP phones.
In three of these offices are also analog phones for use with broadcasting.
Anyway the Device that is the FXS for the analog phones is a Grandstream GXW4216 and is configured for 4 lines.
This device is apparently failing as it has to be rebooted once or twice a week to be able to use it.
I was told that I could replace it with a Cisco IAD2431-8FXS which I have purchased.
Now I have it at my office trying to set it up and really dont know where to start.
I have all the programming information from the GrandStream which apparently is using SIP in its FXS.
SO my question is can someone help me understand the hierarchy of this cisco?
I want to be able to route calls from the Ethernet port to the Voice Ports.
How is all this laid out in respect to one another?
I was told there is a script that you can run that will do most of the setup but I am unable to find it.
Hopefully someone can kinda point me in the right direction.
Thanks
