I have a cisco 2500 router and a 1900 switch, I am also use a Cayman Netopia router for my DSL connection. I'm going to use Windows 2000 AdvServ2000 DHCP to route ip's internally and wanted to know the best connection for my modem/cisco router?? so that my workers can get onto the internet and also could I create a connection on the cisco to my home network cable modem as well.

What kind+number of ports your 2500 and DSL routers have? What for do you need to connect DSL router to 2500 router?

I have found the answer to my solution. I will configure my cisco 2500 for RIP to my Dlink gateway and then use my symantec 200r for VPN/Firewall access for remote use
