Ok I bought a used 2502 without memory and went and ordered some memory from MemoryPro. The memory is for the 2500 routers, 8mb flash simm. I fits in the slot 0 with the memory on the top side of the chip. Well the router doesnt like that and says the memory is reversed. I took a look at my 2503 and noticed that it has two 4mb flash simms and the one in slot 0 has memory on the bottom side. Could someone shed some light on this, what should I be looking for since all I can find is just reference to regular flash memory.

Thanks

All the 2500 Routers I have worked with, have 2 slots for flash (one read only) and 1 slot for DRAM memory. I don't seem to be able to put the memory in the wrong way around!
I Know Cisco make DRAMs specific to platform, but any 2500 DRAMs should work.
