We have a Cisco CME where certain users do not have external access except through system speed dials(Help Desk toll free, on call managers etc).Within the speed dials we can hide the number as it is being dialed, which includes a special access code for external access, however, when you look in call history, the full number is displayed, including the access code. Once you have that code, you can use it from any phone to make a call externally, despite your phone having external calls blocked. I can change the code without a problem, but the new one just shows up again and the users find it quickly. Does anyone know how to turn this history display off, preferably for the speed dial numbers only? Or make the system only allow this code to be used in conjunction with the system speed dials and not direct dials?
