Hi,
I'm a bit of a noob with VoIP, especially in Cisco's world, need someone to point me in the right direction
I have a Lync 2013 lab environment which I've been playing with, and I'd like to give it some trunk capability. I have a Cisco 2951 at my disposal and was wondering if I could use it as a gateway for Lync?
I'm happy with what I need to do in Lync, but I am a complete beginner with cisco voice! Do I need to install software on the router? Can the setup be done with config only in IOS? Also then what are my options for trunks on the cisco? Could I buy a PSTN card for the cisco or is there a free (or low cost) sip trunk provider I could subscribe to?
Many thanks in advance for your help.
Steve
