I have a problem with a Client install. The user grabbed the wrong CD, and loaded the Win2k version rather than the Win98 version. Now when he tries to uninstall, it tells him it can't remove the IPSEC client, and won't uninstall. This version of IPSEC won't work with 98 either. Has anyone seen this or know how to fix this?

I am assuming you uninstalled the VPN client from control pannel. You can only uninstall it using its own uninstall utility. You will need to manually uninstall the client. However I have only seen the procedure for a W2k box:
