Does anyone know if you can use this for calling an Analog modem?

Yes I have used the ATA for connection to modems - like any analogue device the ATA is just an adaptor for them be used on VoIP be it modem, fax or phone.

Yes, we have them on Fax machines. I ran into a problem with the ATA dropping faxes but it was a timing issue. Works well now that problem is corrected.

When I use the ATA to connect to a router, I disconnect ever 20 seconds to 50 seconds.

The Call Manager was set to Clock Internal on the Gateway Endpoint, I set it to External and on the Gateway I set clock source line and network-clock-select 1 T1 0/0/0. On the ATA I set the AudioMode to 0X00150015
