I have a customer (V2 R11.0.4) and we're trying to add 4 remote 9608 phones. Ideally I would like them to be VPN, but I don't mind them not. Having troubles with the IT guy getting the firewall setup. I am not a firewall guy, so I was hoping you guys could give me some guidance I could pass on. Customer currently has 1 public static IP address. They have a Cisco ASA 5506 running version 9.6(1)and are licensed for 12 VPN peers. They are currently only using 3, so we have plenty for the phones. They are open to getting additional public IP addresses if we can't get this working, but I would prefer to use the VPN option of the firewall if at all possible. He tried forwarding some ports to the IPO, but that didn't seem to work as I am stuck on discover on the phone.

Thanks for any and all advice.

There are some application notes on Devconnect and although not for this exact config it could give you some ideas.
