Cisco ASA AIP-SSM logging / notifications 1

How can send the IPS logs to a syslog server? It seems to be a different system than the logging traps of the ASA, and I am not sure how to monitor the logs on the IPS. I can use the IDM, but this is a manual and time consumer. I would like to set up certain events that would email and alert for intrusions or attacks. Did Cisco leaves this out, or is there another additional solution that Cisco sells to extract this information?

I apprectiate any leads of where to look for these.

Scroll all the way to the end but the bad news is that the AIP-SSM doesn't support syslog.
