Hi geeks, i would like to have some advice on the real practical aspect of the cisco ASA Advanced Inspection and Prevention Security Services Module, that you can purchase additionally to use with the firewall, its a lot more expensive and i would like to know from a practical aspect what advantages does it offer, i'm looking at securing some web infrastructure with this one.

It offers the same functionality of the IPS signatures and it is inline inspection in the ASA. I use it in most environments to inspect traffic going to the DMZ.
