I have an SMC Barricade Wireless with SMC card in my home and it works fine, a friend has a Cisco Wireless Access poing at his place and I just can't seem to connect to the Cisco with the SMC card. They both use the same broadcast technology. Is there an app to see what the SMC card is doing, and has anyone had any luck with this?

Cisco and SMC Wireless Compatability

I would check that they are yusing the same channel and that the SSIDs are the same. Other than that it's using Bluetooth technology and the same WAP protocol. Also make sure to check what the encription is set for. You may want to do some testin with none at first and then climb the latter to see if the problem is laying within the encryption keys.
