Does Cisco make an analog cordless unit with Caller ID? I need to have a cordless phone that I can split and install a external loud bell for a very noisy welding shop and also be able to transmit and receive caller ID.

We have had a number of instances where we have had to supply a cordless phone in areas with insufficient Wi Fi coverage so ruling out Cisco 7921s. Have you considered a standard DEC-T phone connected via an ATA186? Unfortunately none of the analogue phones we have deployed in this manner have a display so I can't confirm if the CLID would be presented, but I can't see why it wouldn't. If you can give me until the 25th, I can give you a definite answer.

I've tried a Panasonic cordless and even basic corded analog phones and none have the capability to receive CLID, I did attach these to a Cisco ATA but no luck. I will wait for your results and thanks! much appreciated.

Hi

Some good news. We've just deployed a BT Diverse 6110 DEC-T phone connected via a Cisco ATA186. Both the directory number and the contents of the "ASCII Display Internal Caller ID" are displayed on the handset when an inbound call is ringing.

Hope this helps

Richard
