1.Slow (as in 10 shared vs. 100 full)
2.The cost of an access point and cards are much more than a cheap 10/100 switch.
1.Good for building to building
2.Good for meeting rooms, class rooms and any area that you can not use copper or other media.
3.Good for areas that tend to change in layout on a regular basis.
