Our wireless network is based on Cisco Aironet 1200 wireless access points. We have several VLANs set up on each, and each has its own SSID and WEP key.
We've noticed that, if you set up one SSID on your computer but use the WEP key from a different VLAN on the same AP, you can authenticate to the AP but (apparently) cannot access the network beyond the AP.
Is this standard behavior? We're concerned that it could lead to a breach of WLAN security if they are able to intermingle in any way.
