If you do not use WEP(wired equivalent privacy) for encryption on wireless lans, which will currently limit your bandwidth to 2Mbps and you want the 5Mbps-11Mbps bandwidth use a unique SSID on ACCESS POINTS and CLIENTS. Do remember if you leave the setting on access points"Broadcast SSID enable" this would defeat the purpose and any one with an ID and Password will be able to login. DISABLE BROADCAST OF SSID.
