Cisco Aironet 1232 access point issues

I have a Cisco Aironet 1232 access point, I had to use the mode button to recovery a passord. Before I used the mode button I was able to connect to the access point other than I could not do anything because of the lack of password issue. Now I have the password reset I can not connect to the access point other than with the console cable. My lap top can see it wirelessly but it connects with limited or no connectivitey. Same way with plugging into the unit with a ethernet cable. Can someone help me with this issue? When you press the reset button does it set it in a mode that has to be disabled to connect to it? I think if you used the mode button that resets it to factory defaults , hope you had a copy of the config .It will have to be reconfigured.

Yes I did, I reconfigured the access point, i even entered the old config back. I did all of this and still can't get access to it unless Im hooked through the console port. My question is does the mode button put it in a state that you can't get access throught the fa port or wiresless.

is the ethernet port shutdown? Can you see the AP through cdp from the switch it is conencted to? Is that switch port up?

If you simply copy the config, all interfaces will be shut down.

Ok what is the command to my port come back up is it the same as a cisco switch? no shut?

Thank you for your help, I ended up figuring out my issue. I had to change my PC IP address to the 10.0.01 network to get it to connect to the AP. This worked and I have the IP of the AP changed to my network IP scheme and I'm connect to it just fine.

Now I need to figure out how to get my Cisco 7920 to access my AP to connect to my Cisco 2611 CME router.

Uh, yeah---making sure everything is either in the same subnet or the layer 3 device knows how to route between devices and is set to forward appropriate broadcasts...the same subnet thing is the most important...
