The organization I work for has purchased 10 Cisco Aironet 1200 wireless access points to provide wi-fi coverage for all employees. Is there any way to maintain a single configuration for the wireless access points? In other words, I'd like to apply a setting (perhaps allowing a specific MAC address) to one wireless access point and have it carry over to the 9 other access points. Is this possible with what I have to work with or is extra software/hardware required?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

There are many software packages for wireless management that would be able to use the cisco 1200 aps... but they will cost $$$

The simple solution is to load one AP how you want it.. and then save the config to a tftp or to a file. You can then upload the config to all the other APs.... BUT on the note of filtering by mac addys, mac filtering is worth squat. WPA+PSK or more for wifi security.. I would read up

I just used MAC filtering as an example... not even sure if we're considering that or not. No matter... I believe you answered my question.
