Cisco Aironet 1200 and DNS issues!

I have enabled DHCP on Cisco Aironet 1200 so that AP can provide clients with IP addresses, through CLI (the only way). I have set the DNS through the Web Interface (by accessing AP through its IP address). Clients connect to the AP and get the IP address (not always) but the DNS and gateway is not assigned (I check by typing: “ipconfig /all”) and of course I cannot connect to internet. It works when I input gateway and DNS manually in TCP/IP properties. I checked “running-config” file and I can see DNS IPs there and gateway address towards end of file (does gateway address suppose to show close to DNS and DHCP settings portion of “config” file?) Does anyone knows why can’t I see Gateway and DNS servers when I type "ipconfig /all"?

are you running IOS on this AP1200?
basically these AP's are not designed to act as a dhcp server, so i doubt whether it will work properly anyway. The processor and memory aren't strong and big enough to do a lot.
I've played with this as well, and if i am not mistaken the commands ip nat inside and ip nat outside weren't there, so NAT can't be done on those AP's. I am sure other commands are missing as well, just to make sure you won't be doing things like this.
Anyway, what if you put in the dns servers and gateway through console as well instead of Web?

CCNA, CCNP..partly ;)

I tried manually entering “name-servers” and “gateway”. It didn’t work. I’m thinking, if there are commands to enter dhcp server address and name servers then it should work. If I could just see a sample of “running-config” file for AP 1200 to compare with my file I might figure out what is wrong (at least I would have more clues).

paste you config and we can take a look. Take ip addresses and pw out.
