I have a Cisco Aironet 1100 that picks up an IP address from my DHCP server. The problem is when I connect to the wireless network with any of my client computers, they cannot obtain an IP address via DHCP. If I plug an ethernet cable into the laptop and let it pick up an IP, then the wireless will get an IP and I can unhook the ethernet cable. Any ideas why I can't get an IP just wirelessly??

Thanks,
Joe

well if you went a little overboard with the wifi security I would start from the bottom and work up.. go back to factory defaults and see if it works when its wide open and then add security one step at a time.

I would think you have DHCP blocked somehow....
