I posted a long while back about having my Cisco 871 do dynamic DNS updates with dyndns.com (thread557-1469420), and it's been working perfectly.

However, I want to switch to zoneedit.com to save me some money.

Does anybody know the correct config syntax to use when doing DDNS updates with zoneedit.com?

I want to make sure I do this correctly before I commit!

Thanks in advance!!

Same way, but with zoneedit.com info...username, pw, url, etc.
So...you're paying for dyndns? More than 5 accounts? The first 5 are free---I have had 2 for a few years now, for free...

I've had a CustomDNS account for quite a while now for my domain...but I don't want to pay for it any more, lol. So, I'm hoping I can move to ZoneEdit...but I'm not sure how to test it.

You can shut the ATM and dialer interfaces, then bring them back up to test, and go to zonedit.com and check to see if it picked up the new IP and mapped it to the domain name.
