We recently switched our office router from a Cisco/Linksys RV042 or a Cisco 861 Router. Since the change, users on the local network are not able to access resources by using the external DNS name (internal name works without issue). All users are able to access resources properly when outside the network.
Example:
tablet user has email setup for mail.domain.com
When in the office, it cannot communicate with the email server.
When outside the office, email communication works without issue.

I can provide the config (edited for security) if needed.
