Hello everyone,
I am new user at this great site. I have used the forums like many others to seek answers for my day-to-day networking issues.
I have a challenging issue regarding my Cisco router 851w. The Cisco 851w router produces intermittent connectivity losses.
I suspect my utorrent P2P client to be at fault. I believe when the Cisco 851w has reached a certain amount of data uploaded through the router, it just disconnects me from the Internet. I need to turn off the power and reboot for both the modem and the router in order to successfully reconnect to the Internet.
My question will be how do I troubleshoot and find out if my theory is correct? Or is there a configuration that I just need to add and avoid the disconnects?
thanks,
Tofurkey
