please help me connect and access the router. I dont know what is the default login info? and how do i set up to access the router using hyper termial.

Connect with a db9-rj45 rollover cable plugged into the serial port of a computer and the rj45 into the console of the router. Start HyperTerminal, click Restore Defaults after you give it a name. Start the router, and hit ctrl-break on the keyboard repeatedly as soon a syou turn the router on, untim you see
rommon1>
then type
rommon1>confreg 2142
rommon2>reset
Then let the router reboot, and then
router>en
router#conf t
router(config)#enable secret (password goes here)
router(config)#line vty 0 4
router(config-line)#password (a different password)
router(config-line)#login
router(config-line)#exit
router(config)#config-reg 0x2102
router(config)#end
router#copy run start
The password you enter at line vty 0 4 will be the telnet password, and the enable secret is the password to get into enable (priv exec) mode.
