Hi, i am tryin to set up vpns to a cisco 837. the users can ping the external ip of the box but when they try to authenticate they cant, it just says remote peer is no longer responding. they are running pcs with the vpn client on it and a broadband connection . i have set up the router with pre shared keys etc but im not even sure if this is the rite way to do it. do they need a cisco box at their end to share the key or can the client do it, when you open the client you can pick group authorise , the group name and a password, is the password the shared key? i even removed our main access list to see if somethign was blocking it and still the same problem. can anyone help me??????
