Hello,

Does anyone know if it is possible to configure a Cisco 837 to train against another 837 on the ADSL interface, wired back to back. I know this is possible with some other routers (worked with Efficient Networks product a long time ago that would do this).

If so, does anyone know what you need to do to the config to make this work, as I could not get them to train.

Heres my debug:

00:06:19: DSL: Send ADSL_OPEN command.

Many Thanks.

Tim,

From my readings, adsl back to back doesn't work - shdsl does. You'd then make sure one side was cpe, the other co:

dsl equipment-type co | dsl
