I have just bought a cisco 837 and am getting to grips with the CLI, but still use SDM (v2.1) to configure. However, I am struggling to browse the web using my adsl connection. I have configured to access via LAN okay, and the adsl connection synch's, but when I test the atm0.1 interface it says that there is no ip address for the interface which I think means that an IP address hasn't been assigned by ISP (BT).

Can anyone point me in the right direction - do I need to get BT to do something / change ISP / change config of my router ?

Thanks
JONSP
