I am trying to set up a Cisco 831 and have run into a snag.
Network config...
Cable modem hooked up to Netgear FVL328. Internal Nat'ed subnet is 10.100.10.xx. I have a machine at 10.100.10.103 that can surf the net and ping any other machine on the 10.100 subnet.
I have added a Cisco 831 in the network that has its Wan port set to 10.100.10.169. It has the Lan port set to 10.10.10.1. The firewall features of the 831 are disabled.
I have another machine hooked up to the Cisco 831 with an address of 10.10.10.101. This pc can surf the net and ping any machine on the 10.10.10.xx subnet and any machine on the 10.100.10.xx subnet.
The problem is that no machine on the 10.100.10.xx subnet can ping anything behind the Cisco Router.
I have added a static route in the Netgear router for 10.10.10.0 255.255.255.0 10.100.10.169 but to no avail.
Does anybody have any ideas???
