I know that the Cisco 1200 AP can have an A radio and B/G radio but I am confused about one thing. Can the B/G radio run in B mode only or is that mixed mode? I would like to have the option of having it be in B only mode and never use G until I am ready. Does anyone know if that option exists?

yes thats possible. Even if you have a G module in the 1200, but a B card in your pc, you can still connect easily, but you will only get 11mb of speed instead of the 54mb that G module offers you.

CCNA, CCNP..partly ;)
