Hi,

I want to create a budget CCNA/CCNP lab. I've never worked with ISDN before and wondered if I could connect 2 ISDN routers with a crossover cable??

no, you need an ISDN Simulator,
you can get them on ebay for around 500 bucks
(at least the last time I checked)
no really worthwhile. I got a BRI module
for my router and could do most of the work
interfaces never really came up.

crossover cable won't work
I'd spend the 500 on routers and swithes

Yikes!!! Back on ebay they go :)

What would be the best routers to buy the build a budget ccna lab?? Ideally I'd like a dual 10baseT (to keep cost down) ethernet router. That supports EIGRP and OSPF?? Which model would be best?

if you are planning on advancing to ccnp
2600XM series, 3640 series, 3700 series, all are pretty cheap.

if you don't plan on advancing to ccnp
2600 series non-xm will work fine.
