Cisco 7962 phone - Call transfer with headset put on hold

My CM is 9.1,

My phone is associated with a Jabber client for presence and IM. When I answer a call - internal or external - with my wired headset and I try to transfer the call, the call is put on hold and I'm unable to transfer. I hear just a beep of dial-tone and then nothing but silence. The screen shows a little headset icon and the call as being on hold. If I answer with my receiver or with the speakerphone, it works just fine.

What headset setting would there be that would cause this type of problem?
 
Theres a bug with phone firmware 9.3.1 SR4 I think that sounds exactly like what you are experiencing.
