Hi

I have a problem with our 7960 phones.

We cannot added more that two line to them , they are supposed to support up to 6 lines.

It will show two line but when we add the third it does not show.

I fairly new to the voip world so can someone point me in the right direction where to looks

The phone is setup using SCCP .

Regards

You need to create a new phone template that has a six line capability, then assign that to the phone. You can do that under phone templates.
Right now it is using a template that has two lines and 4 speed dials so you can't add more than two lines.

thanks for the reply

Tried that
with both 4 lines and 2 sd and 6 lines template

You can add the numbers in call manager but they don't show up on the phone

it works ok with our 7961 phones but 7960 don't display more that 2 lines.

i can add 2 lines and sd dials no problem

its strange

If u are using extension mobility, did u logout and login your profile on the phone?

This problem is now sorted thanks for the help

The problem was due a conflick between a phone 7960 profile and a default user 7961 profile.

i have changed the user to a 7960 and it works.
The user 7961 profile works with all other versions of the phone except this one.

thanks again
