Cisco 7940 can't make calls

Hello,
I've got a cisco 7940 with a SIP firmware but I can't make any calls from it / into it ?! I've tried to register it with sipgate or voiceflex but had no luck whatsoever! It seems like it's registered but I can't dial anything. Any clues, please?
