I am looking to load a few Cisco 7937G conference phones back to the Polycom IP7000 firmware or Cisco Sip if possible. These are essentially an OEM product and are identical to the IP7000. Has anyone done this before? if so, how do i get the phone to upgrade mode. I can browse to the phone but it is only an info screen. I can specify the TFTP server on the Cisco 7937G and it will look for files from my TFTP server. But i think there is a way to get it to look for Firmware files rather than just config files. I have converted other Cisco to Sip using the reboot method and holding down the # key follwed by 123456789*0#
anyone have any ideas how to do something similar on the 7937G or even how to get them working on a SIP PBX?

the 7937 is SCCP only to the best of my knowledge. It was never intended by CISCO to run SIP firmware nor has it ever released SIP firmware for that product.
