I have a Cisco 7935 Conference Unit that won't boot up beyond the message "Cannot Contact TFTP Server". It gets a DHCP IP Address, but when I sniff on the LAN I cannot see it even attempting to contact a TFTP server.
It won't let me browse to it. It won't let me access any menus etc via the keypad.
Is there a way of forcing it to reset to factory defaults from boot up?

Will the following help?

Resetting the IP Conference Station
If you reset the IP Conference Station, any changes made that have not been saved are lost and set back to the previous settings.

Follow this step to reset the IP Conference Station.

Press * * # * * on the dialing pad.
The message Restarting appears in the LCD screen.

The IP Conference Station re-starts and goes through the startup process.

Erasing the Local Configuration
If you want to erase all locally stored configuration options, you can do so by restoring all settings to their factory default values, including enabling DHCP.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Caution Erasing the local configuration removes all user-defined changes made locally on the IP Conference Station, including the Phone Book. If you choose this option, these settings are set back to their default values.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Follow this procedure to restore the default settings.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 1 Press the Menu button.

Step 2 Press the Up or Down scroll button to select Admin Setup.

Step 3 Press the Select button.

Step 4 Enter the administrator password (the default administrator password is **#), and press the Enter softkey.

Step 5 Press the Down scroll button to select Restore Defaults.

Step 6 Press the Select button.

The following message appears:

All settings and data will be lost. Including Phone Book Entries. Press Yes to Confirm or No to Exit.
Step 7 Press the Yes softkey to confirm the restore, or press the No softkey to exit.

A message appears confirming that the settings have been restored to the defaults and the IP Conference Station will restart.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note You must hang up all calls before you can restart the IP Conference Station.

See the following for the admin guide if needed.
