Cisco 7920 IP Phone

Hello,

We are thinking of buying a few used Cisco 7920 IP Phones. Do these devices support paging?

Currently, When a user dials extension "0" on one of the Cisco IP Phones, all the phones on the CallManager will broadcast whatever that user says.

If we add correct paging group when setting up the 7920, with they also broadcast what the user is saying?

We send paging/intercom though the service bulit-in CallManager Express.

The 7920 has a built in speaker/MIC so it should work but I am not sure.
You know that these phones went EOL 4yrs ago and they are not supported at all anymore? Last day of hw support by cisco was almost two years ago and it is considered obsolete today.

I understand. They are cheap in the used market now. We had some 7921's before, they were very nice, however were a tad too expensive for us.

Sounds like you need either the ActionCaller or PhonePager from DominoComms (

http://www.dominocomms.com).

We use both applications with the 7920 and 7921. Works really well.
