I am involved with the deployment of a Cisco Call Manager system and some of the phone are 7841s. This is the first time I have deployed the 7841s and a strange issue is coming up. About 50% of the phones I have to manually go into the phone and turn on auto negotiate on the PC port so a computer can be hooked up to it. Now I am getting reports from the customer that they are getting tickets that the PC stopped working and turns out the PC port is disabled again. It is not all of them, but it is enough to be very aggravating.
Anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?
