I shipped an older 7000 to an eBay bidder. The router worked fine but is now hanging.

The bidder got the following error:
%CBUS-3-NOMEMORY No memory for controller

Cisco has a non-descript remedy:
Recommended Action:
If this message recurs, service the hardware.

Thanks Cisco, but what do I service? modules? chassis?

I had him reseat the SP, RP and it booted but it will hang while bringing up the interfaces.

%LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Ethernet4/2, changed state to down
%LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Ethernet4/3, changed state to down

Right after this line it stops. Then it just hangs.
Damaged during shipping???

Any and all input would be appreciated.

Its possibe that it may have gotten damaged during the shipment. I would remove the case and verify that all memory cards are slotted properly. Jeter@LasVegas.com
