but said port and protocol settings above were for Microsoft PPTP, I have two computers on local LAN trying to
establish contact with network - the vpn client in the network stack is Microsoft VPN adapter, operating system is Windows 98.
Does not seem to correct problem, and suspect settings are wrong - any input appreciated.
