we have 2 6509's with mfsc cards. One has a line in the config mls rp ip. The other doesn't. Has anyone any idea what this command does

doesn't need to be there , its a leftover command from the Catalyst 5500 days and the RSM card . That used to turn on multilayer switching on the box. On the 6500 its on by default.
