Hello
I have setup two dhcp pools on our Cisco 6500 these are each associated with a specific vlan and are working ok. However I now need to setup specific dhcp reservations so that only known Mac addresses will get IP addresses from the dhcp pools.
Sample config for one of the networks is as follows, but both are essentially set up the same way:
!
ip dhcp excluded-address 10.9.0.1 10.9.0.100
!
ip dhcp pool WIRE90
network 10.9.0.0 255.255.0.0
domain name zzz.org
dns-server 194.1.36.15
default-router 10.9.0.1
lease 0 1
!
When in the <dhcp-config> mode for a particular dhcp pool I have entered ? to view available commands but none appear relevant, e.g hardware-address and host. is there a way that I can set up reservations and enforce that only reserved IPs can be assigned from the pool.
Thanks
