We have over 50+ Cisco C819GW-LTE-MNA-AK9 routers that use the Verizon network to supply internet access to highway maintenance sheds spread across our state. We are seeing issues with the WiFi network. If a user tries to connect their laptop to the wireless network, the network speeds they receive are extremely poor, but sometimes it won't even let them connect. If a user is hard-wired into the router with a network cable, their speeds are excellent and there are no problems.

We first thought it was an issue with hotspots on phones but now we're unsure. We were able to replicate the issue by turning a hotspot on and effectively crashing the wireless network whereas the wired network was unharmed. But there were also cases that a hotspot was not in play and the wireless crashed then as well. This seems to be effecting most (if not all) of our 4G routers.

Could the 4G signal be clashing with the wireless signal? What are your thoughts?
