I'm running 2 multilinked T-1 circuits on a 2620 and trying to move them to a 3640. The 2620 is running IOS 12.2, 12.4 is on the 3640. I've ported over the config virtually indentically, yet the 3640 won't pass any traffic. It shows all interfaces as up/up with no errors, but no traffic is moving. I have proofread the new config for typos in the routing tables, etc and there doesn't seem to be any issues there

-- UPDATE --

The 2620 was running BGP(static routes) with 8mb Flash and 64mb RAM. The 3640 has 32mb Flash and 128mb RAM and recognizes it all fine. Upon booting up the router(3640) it passes traffic for about a minute, then throws a BGP error giving not enough memory as the reason. It still shows all interfaces as up/up yet no longer passes traffic.

When booted up with BGP removed from the config, it also shows all interfaces as up/up, yet again will not pass any traffic.

What version of IOS are you running and is there enough memory to support on the new Router, a show ver output wld be good.

Have you checked the sys req's on the IOS, 12.4 is fairly new from what I know, did this version ship with the router?
