I have a 3600 with DUAL WICS to handle my routing via point to point T-1's to my remote offices. At the hub where the 3600 resides I have two LAN subnets which are routed via a Windows 2003 Server box. I would like to move the routing to the 3600 if it makes sense. I would like to eliminate the Windows box and utilize the FastEth0 LAN port on the 3600 and use it for LAN based routing. Can someone confirm this is the right move to make? I’m concerned about resources and whether or not the 3600 can handle the load.

Thanks for any help.. .

Andrew

If a windows box can handle it then there is no doubt the 3600 can.

To add to Brianinms!Router think only about routing.Whilst Windows thinks about everything.Remember also a 3600 reccomended for larger remote branch offices. If you google you should find the specs.
