Cisco 3524-XL-PWR-EN Boot Errors

Hi All,

I have just bought a set of 3500 series switches, and one is giving various errors in the boot up sequence. The unit then just sits with the light over the first port blinking alternate orange and green.

I was just wondering what peoples advice on the issue would be. I did wonder if re-flashing the IOS from one of the good units via a TFTP server would maybe solve the issue, but figured I would post here first and see what other advice may be given.

I have included the full output from the bootup below, and have highlighted the section with the errors:

This doesn't look good but you can try to
FORMAT the flash
and load a new IOS and see if that will help..
Remember when you format the flash it erases everything so do not reboot the switch

Thats a hardware failure , its toast if it doesn't pass POST.
