Hi All,
In a nutshell we have about 13 switches connected via fiber ... they are daisy chained together using the gigabit ports ... all are using LX GBICS and fiber has been tested and is apperently ok ... Cisco were invloved at the start as we were connecting the 13 switches and we feared STP problems.
Every now and again the Gigabit ports go into errdisable for whatever reason ... I had to configure the errdisable recovery becuase there is distances between switches obvisouly.
Looking thru Cisco website I can see a number of possible causes, GBIC's, fiber stp etc ... a show int and show controller are not showing adnormal errors.
Question how best to troubleshoot these errdisable problems on a Cisco 2950 platform and has anyone else come across same.
