We have had a digital/IP video survellience system installed and the multicast traffic is interfering with a network device. I have not setup any igmp stuff on the switch or router so it is all default configuration. Is there a way to disable that traffic to one interface? If not does the traffic by default traverse all VLANs? If it does not travers VLANs I should be able to setup a new VLAN and put this one device in it and setup routing on the router to be able to talk to it, right?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
