I have never setup a Cisco 2621 with NAT and DHCP. This router has 2 ethernet ports on it with NO Serial ports.
Can anyone tell me if this will work the way I need it to?
I don't have the actual IP's here as I don't know what they are yet so I am using 192.168.*.* in my example. I do know that the 10.1.1.1 is correct.
FastEth: 0/0 FastEth:0/1
---------------------[cisco 2621]--------------------
192.168.1.254/24 Primary 192.168.10.1 Primary
192.168.1.90/24 Secondary 10.1.1.1/24 Secondary
On the 0/1 side I need a DHCP Server running for the 10.1.1.1 network. 192.168.10.1 will be static assigned IP's
On the 0/0 side the company wants the router to have a primary IP of the .254. Yet they want the .90 to be adjustable?????
All the examples I have seen does not show a Cisco 2621 but show them with Serial ports or cable or DSL connections. Has anyone used this on process on a router that just has two ethernet connections?
Thanks
