I have a cisco 2611xm and recently was givng a cisco ASA 5505 . My question is while using the 2611xm for the main router to the outside world and the T1, can the ASA 5505 be connected behind it so the VPN lic can be used. If so how would that be done.
you want to creat vpn's from the ASA to other peers through the 2600? yes that can be done, just make sure you acl allows vpn traffic. it is licensed the same way as if it was the head end
Thanks for replying. Since I did not set up the 2611xm I am not sure how to set it up to make sure the traffic can come through to the ASA 5505. The person that did is no longer with the company, and it was giving to me to do it. Since I have no expernice setting up a cisco I am afaid I am lost.
Is there any good sites out there that would show a nebie how to do it and expalin along the way ?
